Tickets and Information

The 9th Annual Sacramento Banana Festival will be held on Saturday, August 11, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, August 12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Festival is located at William Land Park. General admission is $8 in advance and $10 at the gate for adults (18 and up), $6 for Youth 6-17, Seniors/Veterans, and is free for children age 5 and under.

New this year is the Banana Lounge, the lounge features front row seats under covering,complementary appetizers and to purchase wine tickets for only $25.

Admission

General admission is $8 in advance and $10 at the gate for adults (18 and up), $6 for Youth 6-17, Seniors/Veterans, and is free for children age 5 and under.

Upon entering the concert area, you will receive a hand stamp. You must show your stamp at the Main Entrance in order to leave and re-enter the Festival.

Limited seating at tables and chairs is available near the Main Stage. Festival guests are welcome to bring regular-size folding lawn chairs for additional seating. Oversized or covered chairs are prohibited.  All performance times are subject to change. The Sacramento Banana Festival reserves the right to change performers and performance. There will be no ticket refunds or exchanges due to rescheduled or cancelled performances.

Parking

Vehicles may be parked at Sacramento City College. Alternatively, you can hop aboard the Light Rail and get dropped off at the station a block from the park.

Pets

Pets must be on a leash and remain with you while inside the festival gates. Unsupervised pets are not allowed. Sacramento Banana Festival reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person violating this festival rule.

Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited inside the Festival grounds in consideration of the safety and enjoyment of those attending the event. Sacramento Banana Festival reserves the right to alter or change this policy at any time. Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • Outside food or drink—all food and drink must be purchased inside the Festival area.
  • Alcohol
  • Video equipment
  • Recording devices
  • Drugs and contraband
  • Weapons/knives
  • Coolers
  • Oversized chairs
  • Chairs with footrests or overhead covers

The Banana Festival Committee reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person violating festival rules, local, state or federal law or whose conduct is deemed illegal, disorderly or offensive by the staff. Persons entering the festival area are subject to search for contraband, alcohol, controlled substances, weapons, firearms, and fireworks, which are expressly forbidden and subject to confiscation.
